We were up till 2AM last night rearranging the second floor. This is what we did. Pay attention, there will be a quiz after. In September I moved Gabriel out of his first bedroom (brown room) and into his second bedroom (yellow room) which was the 2nd floor guest bedroom. During that move in order to get Gabriel into the yellow room I had to THROW everything from the yellow room into the brown room.
It was a mess until last night. Last night we moved the computer room into the brown room and the brown room contents (formerly yellow room contents) into the grey room (formerly computer room). Now Gabriel is in the yellow room, the 2nd floor guest bedroom is now the grey room and the computer room is the brown room. Why the move you ask? Well the bathroom pipes in this house are just too loud and the brown room is next to the second floor bathroom and over the first floor bathroom. Also, the heat in the brown room was just too loud for a baby who is not a sleep lover. The grey room is eventually going to be another baby room so we had to move the computer into the brown room. The computer says he doesn't mind the noise. It was a shame to move Gabriel out of the brown room since Uncle Reed and Bryan installed some very nice crown moulding last September. The computer says he likes the way it looks. Amy and Harland get to try out the grey room soon. Perhaps the Rebel will post about how much they enjoyed it. Looks comfy huh?
None of that stuff had been moved for 6 1/2 years. There was so much dirt. Makes you think, where does dirt come from? I wonder most about the dirt that was in the most hidden and small places. Maybe this is a question for Mr. 100 hours. (when he is back from the unusually long hiatus)So now we are clean people. I would like to thank Gabriel for not waking up last night as we were moving furniture through the hallway and also for going to sleep at 8PM tonight even though he woke up at 8:40PM and interrupted me. He is chewing on his thumb like a fiend today. Enjoy it now kid.
It was super hard to put these pictures in here and arrange them like this. Seems that Blogger needs to make it easier to place images in the post. Seems most people would want to put multiple images in different spots. It's not exactly the way I wanted it but this is the way it is staying. I wanted to put text under each picture but since I used color coding in my description, I think most of you are smart enough to figure it out.
The posting time of this post is misleading. It took 2 hours to do this post because of multiple problems with Blogger and my inexperience as a blogger. I blame most of it on the application itself. Bryan also was with me for most of the time although he did not contribute to the content. Bryan was heavily involved in the formatting and it is quite clear he needs his own blog. Here's to another blog to entertain us all real soon.

So you say more babies!!! Are you adopting again? Soon? The rooms look great, wanna come to my house?
First of all, thank you for feeding all our blogging addictions by posting a lot up front. You've got to grab your A.D.D. readers, aka: us with a bunch of posts in the beginning...it's what makes us willing to wait around when you don't post all the time later!
Looks great! I think I might get a B- on the quiz though. All that matters is I know where my head is hitting the pillow (and that would be the grey guest room, formerly the computer room)..hmmm...maybe I could pull off an A-.
I love moving furniture around! Ok, I don't like it during the process, but afterward it's so nice and clean!!
I'm glad the computer likes it's new home, and Bryan, we could all definitely get into a blog from you, or you could be made an author on this blog so you can both post on it under your own names...just a thought...
So we are still a little dirty. We had planned on cleaning up the details tonight but the blog problems took too long and now we are tired. It doesn't look too bad and we just have to go through all our paper junk and hopefully throw out most of it. I think Amy could swing an A on the quiz.
Yup. More babies. We are hoping by Christmas or New Year's next year. Adopting again, I am leaning very heavily towards girl this time but in the last few days I have felt a little boy tugging at my ideas so now I am not so sure. Probably girl. I am thinking a fairly princess theme for the new room. I am seeing foofy foofy girly in there. I am seeing so much foofy I am about to gag myself. When it gets going I will have to post my progress.
I got completely lost in the Brown/Gray/Yellow room triangle, but did get the fact that the new computer room has nice crown molding, and Gabriel is without.
I'll volunteer to put up the molding in Gabriel's room, if you want. I will also volunteer to paint the molding.
Wow, volunteering to paint too. Be careful what you volunteer for, I think I will take you up on that offer. The new room would be a challenge, slanted roof, lots of angles. I am confident you would do a great job, next time on a day that is not so hot. The new baby room needs it too, again, with an invite we may wish to abuse your carpenter skills.
