Another Big Weekend for Gabriel

On Saturday we took Mr. No Naps to the Camden Children's Garden. It was so much nicer than we had expected and we are definitely planning on going back in the fall when the weather is not so super hot. Since Gabriel decided not to take a nap on Saturday we had to devise a cunning "make the baby tired" activity. Off to Camden we went.

He didn't last long as the heat gets to a tired two year old pretty quick. He was ok and he wanted to go on the Choo Choo train until we took him into the gift shop for some beverages and he saw the play choo choo set which was all set up. He threw a fit when we took him out and it was all over from there.

It was actually a very nice place to go on a hot day since there was water squirting from everywhere. Mommy enjoyed the water sprays but Gabriel just couldn't figure out why he was getting squirted. They had a big open spot where water just shoots up from the ground. We thought he would love it. He spent the whole time there thinking about why and how the water was shooting up from the ground and out of the giant mushrooms. Yup, he just did the eyebrow expression thing, just thinking about it.

We would definitely recommend it. It was worth the price too. (yup, it was cheap)

Here is a link to our pics since I don't have time to pick out the best ones to post here, you can see them all. Notice the sleeping baby picture. We take one at the end of every trip. He is always so exhausted he is out in the car on the way home.

On Sunday Gabriel was also Mr. No Naps. We had a great time at Savannah's First Birthday Party. I did not bring my camera.

Looks like fun. I love that you chronicled Gabriel being unimpressed with everything! It was funny.
