Rock and Roll

tonight we are supposed to be officially lised on sale. I haven't seen anything online yet so I think we are not up yet, online anyway. One of our realtors told us we would be up thursday night because we are having an open house on sunday. I don't see anything yet. instead of posting pics of our beautiful new interior, i am going to post the sites with the best pics and you guys can check it out.

this house looks sooooooo different. I want to have Sylvia's birthday party but we are so busy and right now particulary clean. Shame we are moving since I really super love this house. I think it's gonna go for a steal, although no one else agrees with me. If anyone you know wants my house, let me know.

I'm sort of planning on blogging the house sale. It should be a big laugh and lots of entertainment for anyone who has ever done it.

I have been the sole workhorse for this fix up. I laid the floor nearly alone. Bryan helped with the floor leveler. I tiled the bathroom, I set up the tub reglazing. I spackled. I sanded. eight years ago, I alone, ripped up the pink shag carpet. When I had a 102 fever I removed the wallpaper in the dining room. I painted so much, I cried when I pulled off the painters tape in the 2nd floor hallway and the paint came off. That's what I'll be doing on saturday. I now have man hands, multiple bandaids gabriel is calling mommy's hand boo boo's. Paint stains up my arms, I think I will be sleeping with my foot moisture socks on my hands since today I was in some particular hand pain.

All this during Sylvia's sickness. The pediatrician wanted to admit her to the hospital about 2 weeks ago with fluid in her lungs. She really was in very bad shape but I decided against the hospital and had meds and a 5x a day nebulizer. She is all better but it put a damper on our home renovations and my stress level in general. And oh yeah, on top of it all this week, gabriel has a penis boo boo. The doctor is concerned about MRSA that bacterial resistant infection so we are to go for a recheck tomorrow. I think he is super improved, but I let him miss school on Wednesday. Those penises cause so many problems, geeze.

All in all. This house looks damn good, and pretty much empty, it looks and feels like we aleady moved out.

I've been talking to Gabriel about moving and he's only concerned that we will bring his toys with us.

Open house on sunday and we will be at church since the kids are signed up to be models at a fundraiser fashion show. I took them for their fittings tonight and all the clothes made me want to see spring TOMORROW!!!! Gabriel has a cute hat with shorts and Sylvia has a very cute summer dress. When we are at church on sunday I hope this house gets sold so we can get messy again.
