Operation BIG GIRL!

So everyone knows I wanted to keep Sylvia in her crib as long as possible. We thought that the outside time frame was her birthday in January since she'll be three. (not 18 years old as I had hoped).

Yesterday in the bathroom at the YMCA after her music class with her beloved Miss Lori, Sylvia started crazy crying saying that she's little and no one ever says she's big. She simply wouldn't stop so I told her she's a big girl and she will get a big girl bed. So we had to go to Ikea to get a big girl bed and that was my day yesterday.

She's sleeping in it now, peacefully. I wanted to make sure she was super tired for the transition even though she said she wanted her old crib in the garbage. All this because of the crazy time we had with Gabriel going to a bed when he was only just barely 20 months old.

Well, my baby, Big Girl is sleeping in her Tinkerbell bed. tear tear tear....
