We love the YMCA! Where would we be without it?
This weekend Bryan took Gabriel on a trip with our Y to the Frost Valley YMCA in upstate NY. It was COLD. Winter camping with super nice amenities and winter sports at their fingertips ALL WEEKEND LONG!
Snow shoeing, sledding, snow tubing-even night time snow tubing, winter birds, candle making, a cabin nearly all to themselves (a nice one too). More sledding sledding and sledding, friends and healthy food. Gabriel was so hungry he ate eggs. There are lots more activities but they didn't have time for it all. Maple sugaring, broom ice hockey, night time observatory, board games, so much stuff.
It's part of a program called Adventure Guides where the parent is a life mentor for the child. Fabulous stuff and so much fun. Camping in the spring. Or is it just to get the boys out of the house for the weekend.........................
