well, I hope soon. Gabriel and Sylvia both went back to the doctor this morning, AGAIN. (it would have been nice if they could have taken themselves.....Gabriel does like to drive Mommy's car) Gabriel is clear of bronchitis and an ear infection and the doctor says that since he's had the cough for 2 weeks he should likely start to get better soon since 4 weeks is the outside timeframe. Gee, I hope so because he is still coughing up Michigan. Sylvia's ear infection was not improving that much so we got more antibiotics and she now has a touch of bronchitis. I had to give her a breathing treatment at the doctor's office today. Besides the fact that it didn't help, I told the doctor it was much too traumatic for me to do it at home. It's supposed to help her breath but it just made her cry like mad. The tech said hold this over her face and turn the machine off when the steam stops coming out. I said, well how long does it take and she said it was like 6-7 minutes. Right then I knew it wasn't going to work out. I held her down, with no help from the tech, with a mask over her face, with her screaming for what seemed like a lot longer than 6-7 minutes. The doctor came in and checked her and said it didn't help anyway. Good thing too because that wouldn't have worked out at home.
I was sure Gabriel was going to join in and try to help me quicken her demise but he was very concerned about her predicament with the mask over her face and her screaming the whole time. It was very cute, he didn't seem to believe it was medicine that was supposed to make her feel better. At least he wasn't afraid that he was next. He just got medicine for his butt rash which is all he could handle I guess.
We also just got back from having Sylvia's hips x-rayed. She had a lot of trauma today. The poor girl is sleeping again. It's good that she's so young she won't remember how misrable it was when she first got here. She's happy but I can just imagine her thinking, "Hmmmm, they told me it was going to be great when I went on my trip but this just SUCKS!!!!!".
When I have more time I will try to get the video camera out.

I feel for all of you. It is so tough when you are sick and especially kids. "When it rains it pours." You'll really appreciate your health as soon as you all feel beeter.
I am also at home for two weeks now due to my shoulder surgery. It has been painfull two weeks, but it's getting better everyday. We will survive.
God Bless,
Lola
