too much in fact to be posting on this blog.
But i must fit this in real quick. Gabriel is considered house trained now with one little twist. Always a twist with this kid.
He poops in his underpants/pull up and then he cleans it all up himself.
This morning I heard the toilet seat SLAMMING down and thought I must find out what is going on down there. He is yelling, mommy, i pooped and I cleaned it up all by myself. I find a wet bathroom, a pull up on the side of the sink that weighed 15 pounds because Gabriel told me he cleaned his diaper in the sink. (for the laymen, diapers suck up water and can weigh 20 pounds or so) it was squeaky clean as was everything else. He puts his own poop in the potty, in the uncommon way, but it gets in there.
He just did it again as I was taking a break from him checking my e mail I hear the SLAMMING of the potty seat again and I go to check. This time he's in the tv room with a cottonelle wipe in his hands picking up little pieces but he told me he put the other pieces in the potty already.
He thinks it is ok if he cleans it up all by himself. Frankly, I think its great if he can clean up his own accidents, next step will be for him to get a new pair of underwear out and change his pants all by himself.
Craziness I tell you.

I don't know if I am happy for Gabriel or mildly disturbed. How good is he at cleaning himself? It seems like he can clean the diaper pretty well.

Gabriel doesn't really clean himself, just the pull ups, the potty insert (this is recently from yesterday i found him at the first floor bathroom sink with the potty insert in the soapy sink full of water and his green hand soap, he said he was washing it himself) and his hands, and the floor.
the last time he used the potty himself for number 2 he got really really messy and I guess he thought that sucked because he tried but he couldn't clean himself but it was cute to watch him try. So no he's decided it's easier to do it in whatever butt cover he's got and then clean it later.
I'm sure he'll get it soon but we are all a little slightly disturbed by almost everything.
Gabriel is so unique in his own way. I have never heared of any kid washing his own diaper/pull ups whatever. At least he did not shove it in the toilet then flush it. Some kids do. I supposed Sylvia remains to be an Angel as usual.
It will be another interesting Table Topics speech during our next Toasmasters club meeting.
