No more do we have minty green fixtures in our bathroom!! On Thursday afternoon I installed, all by myself, a new bathroom sink. Today, all by myself, I installed a brand new toilet. I must say I am very proud of myself. I must also more importantly say that those two tasks were quite easy and not nearly worth the money Loews wanted for installation. It was 229.00 for the sink and 199 for the toilet. Considering it cost less than 30.00 for the parts to install the sink and the toilet, those installation prices are just plain crazy.
I must thank Bryan for helping me with the heavy lifting as I could never have done that myself. Some bolts were so old they wouldn't turn and he had to do that too.
The poor guy also hurt his back getting the old toilet off today. It was pretty stuck and we didn't understand how the bolts worked at the time. The poor guy will also have to carry the old toilet out tomorrow morning.
My guy does provide the muscle when necessary.
Gabriel christened the toilet. I've been telling him the whole week to save up his pee so he could be the very first one to use the potty. He was very excited to get this very special job.
Open house tomorrow, hope the new sink and toilet help us out.
As for how it's going. It's not going at all. No one has wanted to see our house since the last open house a month ago. I guess no one thinks this house is even a little bit of the great thing I think it is. Here's wishing ourselves good luck for tomorrow.

It looks great! How did the open house go?
Yes, I am also interested in the open house result.
Gabriel looks so cute doing his job.
Congratulations Sandra! You are getting to be a Pro in remodelling.
