If you need us we'll be in the yard....

wearing these shoes, for the indefinite future. Gabriel says that even if it is raining he will still be in the yard. He brought his winter coat to me this morning and went to the back door to go out. He wanted to be outside so badly that when I took the stroller out of the van he climbed right in by himself. We went to the park and he walked almost the whole way. When we got back he screamed and cried when he realized we were going into the house. He even wouldn't let me open the tray on the stroller and when I unbuckled him he tried to buckle himself right back in. It was very cute but with lots of very loud crying and screaming. The whole neighborhood heard lots of "NO!". He was so tired the poor little guy slept till 4PM when I woke him up. Then we played in the yard. The protest about the diaper change at about 6PM was insane because we had to do it in the house. I hope the consistent good weather comes soon or Gabriel is going to have a nervous breakdown. The current outside toy situation isn't enough for a whole day of playtime so we had to get a lawn mower and a t-ball set. He did his first T-ball today and he was great. He loved the mower but it was too small, we need a taller one. We need some prayers for the next week or so because it is supposed to rain every day or so. I'll have to break the news to him gently.

I guess Gramma is going to have to buy him some outdoor toys.

Those two pictures are so cute! I love them both.

I started changing the girls diapers on a blanket outside. It was just easier that way.

I'd love to change him outside but that would just result in a naked baby running out to the front yard. The struggle would just be too much of a risk. I know that no one could have thought the diaper change could have become more difficult but he is getting smarter and stronger. He would never stop to use the potty either so I don't think that is an option. I need to discover the three day diaper.
