So moving on from Turkey Day................People have been asking what Gabriel would like Santa to bring him. This time we can say without hesitation that Gabriel needs toys. We haven't bought him any toys for a really long time and a requested he got his books for his birthday. It's been so long and he has been growing up so fast that all his playthings are more suited to Sylvia Mae than for Gabriel. So here are the things we thing Santa should know that Gabriel will like.
Anything Matchbox/Hot Wheels: cars or sets that come with a track.
Anything Thomas Train: He still wrecks the train but when he's really in the zone he plays really really well with Connor's Thomas Train set.
Anything he can build with, I've been looking at his age group there's not much out there but if Santa happens to see something.
Gabriel is a Winnie the Pooh FANATIC. Strange I know. He has to have a constant supply of Pooh Bear movies on. We have the friendship edition and Piglet's Big Movie but that's it. He has pooh bear/tigger PJ's too. He picks on the girl at the Y who wears Pooh Bear overalls.
He's really into big trucks, he currently likes his new Hess truck and fire engine.
He is size 4T mostly for shirts. I wouldn't even bother on pants/bottoms since he is so skinny. 36 inches tall and he weighs about 28 pounds depending on how he decided to eat that week.
Sylvia needs age appropriate toys. She is completely opposite from Gabriel in almost every way. She actually likes to sit down and play with stuff, examine it etc. She started putting objects inside of other objects today. Gabriel never did that at her age. His toys aren't amusing her because when he was a baby all he wanted to do was to move, crawl, stand and cruise as much and as fast as possible so toys really didn't do much for him. He couldn't sit still long enough to play. As a result, Sylvia really doesn't have much to stimulate her.
She got a lot of exercise this long weekend because Daddy was here to help wrangle her big brother. I can't wait for her to walk...she's so tiny. I don't think walking will come soon though, she needs more exercise.
They are sleeping now so I must snatch up some pie.

Good, at least we know what their needs are. Christmas is moving so fast but we'll catch up one way or another. Love, Lola
