Hawaii Day 2

I saw most of this day through these pics and videos since EVERYONE got to go to the Paradise Cove Luau except me because Sylvia decided to finally sleep and I had to stay home with her. Actually it wasn't that bad since it was the only time I got to sit in the sun, albeit windy, and read my book ALONE. Gabriel missed it too even though he was there, he just couldn't keep up with himself and fell asleep at the luau. Not much today except exploring the resort, which was fabulous, and swimming. Lolo and Lola arrived to meet us on this day and we were still playing with Uncle Kevin and Auntie Nikol. No great stories about the Luau since I wasn't there.

We are still having a SUPER tough time with the kids transitioning to NJ. I think it would just be easier to take them back to HI at this point. Up all day and up all night, I am not sure how much more I can take of it. There are really no words..........perhaps I will post again when they wake up from their naps at 2:30AM.

Here are some highlights. Click on the album to see lots of pics from this day.
Gabriel couldn't keep up with himself and fell asleep right before the entertainment. He fell asleep with daddy in the line for drinks.
Daddy volunteered to test the luau food. This was the poi. Gabriel had to get right up there and watch. This was a performance in front of about 800 people attending the luau.
Daddy took this picture. Gotta love that camera.
After our first day at the beach at the resort. Gotta love that new/used stroller. LOVE IT. Also gotta love that I only paid 10 bucks for it.
Lola at the luau. Love the new stylish coral neckwear.
Again, gotta love that new camera and the Oahu sunrise off of our balcony at about 6AM. Gabriel had been up since 4:30 I guess just because he wanted to see the sunrise.
Gabriel got comfy in resort mode right away. He just crawled right into the chair on the balcony and got into the tropical spirit. This is about 7AM after the sunrise.

This is the daytime view of our balcony. The valet parking lot. Not a bad parking lot as parking lots go, quite stylish. However, if you are a two year old boy, lots of cars and white things that look like choo choo tracks are much better than an ocean view. Gabriel loved going out there to watch the cars.

Here's the link to the album pics and VIDEO. There's some good video in this one. HULA Girls and Fire Twirling.
