We Had a Birthday Party....and More Urine!

On Sunday we finally had Gabriel's birthday party. Since we had such a bash last year we wanted just a small family party this year. As a special form of celebration, Gabriel peed on the big boy potty two times on Sunday. Just before everyone came, he peed for Nanny when Mommy and Daddy were out getting last minute party supplies. On Sunday night after everyone left and just before bathtime he peed for Daddy. Mommy missed it because she had ducked into the kitchen to toss a diaper away.

We had tons of fun at our party. So did our mosquitos. They drank their full of Gabriel. His itchy boo boo bulges were so big that cousin Rich spotted them on his back all the way from the patio. "What's that on Gabriel's back?". Gabriel is a party boy. We went to another party on Saturday and he had more fun than he's ever had. He made friends with everyone and was sitting on everyone's lap. I did not know who all these people were but it didn't seem to matter to him. Thanks to little Andrew's family who loved Gabriel so much.

If I had been paying attention a little more I might have had Gabriel poop on the potty today but I was not paying enough attention. Maybe next time.
