Mission Big Boy: Highchair

Highchair be gone! Since we are over the thumb saga and the recent sickness, I thought it would be safe to resume Mission Big Boy. I was cleaning up on Friday morning and I decided, hey why not put the high chair in the basement. Gabriel has a booster seat at the table and it is going well so far. Of course we still need an acceptable video, a non-flying plate and rotini-yes you guessed it. Rotini and Ragu Double Cheese sauce. It's the best you know. We are still not on utensils or regular plates. Baby steps. I love it. It is so much easier to clean up one plate instead of the highchair top. We have a lot more room in the TV room now. The instances of flying food/cups have decreased significantly. If we didn't have a glass top table, it wouldn't be possible because those suction cup plates/bowls won't stick to anything else. He even demands to sit in his chair when he knows he is going to eat or if he is hungry. He even tries to put the bib on by himself. He doesn't really drop anything on himself but we still need the bib in case of emergency yuck.
Notice the missing highchair in the right corner.
The required good view of the acceptable movie. The current acceptable movie is Madagascar.
This is his seat at the table. Notice the suction cup plate. It does come off if you pull hard enough but we're not telling.
I wonder if he would be less slimy if he ate with a fork. Somehow I doubt it.

Eating is a serious business especially if you are watching your favorite show.
