We went for a breakfast picnic at the park. Our plan was to take the little guy out for a run as he was extra hyper this morning. Any other normal kid would have been ready for naptime after his run. He was not. He was Mr. No Nap today but no fighting at bedtime which was around 8:30.
Gabriel loves to go on a run. He runs all the way to the park usually. Today he demonstrated his new skill of demanding to WALK and not ride in the stroller. He has also demonstrated he can speak even when he is in a frenzy. (fighting as we are strapping him into the stroller) In a frenzy he can say UP DADDY, OUT DADDY, WALK AND WALKING. Unfortunately he really liked it when daddy was WALKING and carrying him. Wooo, that little guy is heavy.
We also had quite a father's day feast. Bryan requested ribs, potato salad and corn. We also had snacks, scallops and two lobster claws that were so big we couldn't even get them open with a real hammer. They were good.

Looks like a very wonderful Father's Day. Gabriel did an awesome job, keeping up with Dad's special day. Nice picture.
