We did receive the approval on the first part of the visa application. It was nearly two months late. I had to complain about the time frame to get it. The date on the letter states it was approved on April 15, 2008-nearly two months ago. It's nearly impossible to get a hold of an actual person at USCIS-Newark. They have no explanation as to why it was so late. Argh! Better late than never. Gabriel will have to improve his official scribbling on the next part.

Congratulations!!!
I need the congrats on being able to get a real person up there about this delay. I can't believe Gabriel's I-600A only took less than 6 weeks and was actually fun because we went to Philadelphia INS that time. Newark was no fun.
I swear I left a comment on here last night, but I guess not.
Congrats on finally getting the "ok"! Cute page too...See, it's worth missing out on a little sleep, isn't it?!
Not so sure giving up the sleep was such a good idea. The sleepover was not a good idea. I'll post the details when I get the pictures.
Thanks, as Bryan never robbed a bank and he kept his public urination ticket secret, they can't deny us. The delay has no effect on our overall timeframe so that's good.
