MN Day 4

Hello! My apologies for not posting last night but I was too exhausted. Bryan and I were going to go to the street dance but we just couldn't do it. They closed down the street where all the bars are and set up bands and entertainment. People wander from place to place and open containers in the street are encouraged. I suppose there is supposed to be dancing in the street but I didn't go so I can't say. It would have been fun but we just couldn't do it.

Yesterday was a super full day. Gabriel was in the parade in the morning. He was so tired he fell asleep in the van on the way back and it was only a 5 minute drive. He slept for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Then he ate pizza and we went to the craft fair at the park. Gabriel was not interested in the craft fair but there was a really nice toy MOW MOW stand where we bought him a little wooden MOW MOW (tractor). Then we went to the playgrounds in the same park as the craft fair. He loved the park. He say the playgrounds and said PLAY PLAY. When we told him we were taking him to see Ryan's doggie Maddie again he was busy playing so he said NO DOGGIE. Then he started pushing the other boys on the playground who were going to slow for him so we left. He didn't sleep well like he did on Friday night so it is a good thing I did not go to the street dance.

Tonight is the big birthday party in Hibbing (birthplace of Bob Dylan) for Gabriel and Lyndah so we will not be able to post tonight. Henry will be the DJ. Lola likes to have parties. We will be too tired again. Tomorrow we are taking Henry's boat out on the Lake. I will try to post tomorrow night.

We had a milestone this morning (which is actually day 5) Gabriel said to Bryan DADDY BABY POOP. His first three word phrase. He had a really big poop. He knows he is the baby. The therapist will never believe me because she said she would not expect three word phrases for some time. He is getting very very good since we left for MN. I wonder how Gabriel will react when we start talking about his speech progression when he is older. It will all be about POOP.

We payed our respects to the large Loon early to make sure the day went well. Sorry to all who were hoping. If you don't come to pay respects in person you are not worthy.
They're not cheerleaders but beauty queens. They'll do.
Wow, taking the first girl out for a drive. Too bad she was shy, Gabriel doesn't like shy girls.
Everyone just before the parade started.
More girls. These girls were on Henry and Lyndah's float. Gabriel was showing then his tattoos.
Family photo on the mini-float. We rode in this one in the parade. Gabriel drove.
Gabriel's first lolly pop. He loved it and it was super messy because he has lots of spit.
Can't get enough of the beauty queens. There are lots of beauty queens in this parade.
He jumped out in the parade and wanted to walk among his fans.
View in the parade through the golf cart windshield. There were a zillion people. The town expected 35,000 people to come and worship the large Loon this weekend.
Gabriel was throwing candy to his many fans from the golf cart. He has a good arm, he loved it. All the kids stand at the parade's edge with bags. It's like Halloween where the candy comes to you.
Gabriel got WET in the fountain at the park/craft fair.
View of the craft fair.
Ryan's snowmobile. We visited Ryan again on Day 4. It's too bad Gabriel thought this "bike" was broken because it had no wheels. I bet he would like it in the wintertime.
Bryan drove the "bus" at the park.

OK, I need a "Future Toastmaster" Explanation!

"Future Toastmaster". Gabriel is not 18 yrs. old yet. You have to be eighteen to be a member. The mini float is for G. Daddy is his driver and mommy is the attendant.

B, S & G had a blast and so as the kids watching them. The weather was perfect and we all had lots of fun and food.

Too bad Uncle Kevin & Nikol were not here. We missed them.

Thank you so much for the cool BD gift.

Love,
Lola

Toastmaster for sure. He'd stand up and exclaim - wat's dat?
A poetic moment depending on the marriage.
I just want an explanation of what Gabriel is looking at while posing with the beauty queens. Yeah...hmmm.

We discussed that too. It appears that he is staring at her, um, well you know. You would appreciate that I know. In the last cheerleader pic he was actually grabbing, the um, well you know. I am sure I posted it you can go back and check.
