Yeah, Santa Came

And we thought he wouldn't even notice anything was different on Christmas day. It is a good thing I had the video camera cocked and ready.

The first video is of Gabriel coming down the stairs to see for the first time what Santa left him. He is my little 25 pound jumping bean. And we thought he wouldn't notice the presents from Santa. Ultimately he didn't know what to do with them and decided they only needed to be organized.

The second video showcases how Gabriel runs when he is super super excited. We put the Pottery Barn My First Anywhere chair in the TV room for him to notice it when he went in there. This reaction makes Christmas Day totally worth all the work. We can be sure Santa and the Reindeer will be back to our house next year. Notice the "kick up my heals" leg movements. Everyone knows Gabriel does his little toe tapping when he is happy but these videos take him to another level.

It will be hard to top this reaction next year. Santa and the elves will have to start working hard now. But he is really not that hard to please.

We deserve some compliments for this post. Bryan helped a lot on this one. Since our video camera was purchased way back in the dark ages (March 2001). It can't be uploaded directly onto the computer. We had to copy it with our DVD recorder onto a DVD then search for and use a converter program to convert it from VOB format to AVI. We think it worked out pretty well. We hope Madison enjoys watching them.

My editor will be very happy when he wakes up tomorrow.
