New Year's Eve 2007

We would like to thank everyone who came to stay at the Hotel on Monday night. Everyone includes Jackie, Rich, Connor, Amy, Harland, Grace and Abby. I hope you all had a good time and were just a little bit comfy in the newly clean portions of the home. (some portions are still dirty, but I did let Amy use my shower, she was supposed to keep her eyes closed, we like to encourage Amy to be clean whenever possible)

Amy has already posted an overview of the pictures from Monday night and Tuesday morning but I thought I would let you all know about some tidbits that might not make it into the recap you might hear about.

1. Gabriel decided to be a big boy and give up chewing on his thumb. He chose to eat cookies instead.







2. Not really. Thumb chewing is great and he was actually trying to encourage the rest of us to take up the habit.









3. Connor made a new best friend.













4. Harland and Rich had a mind meld and Rich wanted to take Harland home with him. Alas, Harland is not the party boy and fell asleep so Rich had to go home without him.











5. Harland was being rude and telling secrets. As a punishment, we made him cook dinner and breakfast for everyone.












6. Harland won the "guns" contest. But Amy was the judge so I don't think it was fair.













7. I am not quite sure what was going on here. Maybe Harland is the party boy? We know he is an avid naked clogger. We also all know that Amy likes that sort of thing.














8. Grace had a fight with a pretzel and will be healing for about 2 weeks I guess. Here is a picture of Grace and her injury. It looks pretty bad but you should have seen the pretzel. We all agree Grace won the Grace v. Pretzel fight. She is a tough chic. You all already know that.

Maybe we can all do it again next year.

I learned how to move pictures around better in this one but I did not have time to perfect the formatting. I hope it gets better. I can't expect Gabriel to nap long enough for me to figure it out every time.
